The record in IPNI is taken from "CMI; IK; R.W. Kiger, 17 April 1991" giving "(fl. 1968)". In 1968 R. K. Jain (1968: Palaeontographica, Abt. B, Paläophytol. 122(1-2): 8–9) described, among others, Triassic fungal spores. He changed the affiliation rather frequently (see below for some palaeobotanical papers) and, in some cases, we can only suppose that it is the same person.
