Original diagnosis/description

Plants small. Stems unbranched, loosely foliate, leaves crowded near apex; rhizoids clustered at base. Leaves spreading at about right angle, linear lanceolate; costa absent or weak and indistinct; laminal cells narrow, ca. 10 μm wide.
