Stigmatic area distinct, elliptical, on a shallow double crest at the distal end of the ventral slit. Follicle surface smooth to strongly wrinkled. Follicle wall supplied by one dorsal and two lateral bundles. Placentation marginal-linear with many anatropous ovules. Seeds ellipsoidal with reticulate surface. Seed coat with three layers.
