Inventory no. according to Pšenička et al. (2017). Obrhel (1957: Sbor. Ústř. Úst. geol., Odd. paleont. 23: 550/556) states "Holotyp je deponován ve sbírkách Národního muzea v Praze, akc. č. 36525"/"Holotypus wurde in den Sammlungen des Nationalmuseums in Prag (akc. N. 36525) deponiert".

Original diagnosis/description

Folium lanceolatum, cca 60 mm longum; nervus medius tenuiter rimosus, 1–2 mm latus; nervi laterales simplices, arcuati, apice – laminae margine – synyngia(?) singula, 1–2 mm diam. metientia, ferentes; lamina folii margine inter nervos profunde (cca 1/6 latitudinis laminae) sinuata.


emended diagnosis [Pšenička et al. 2017: Rev. Palaeobot. Palynol., 236: 64]: Fertile leaf of taeniopterid type, more than 55 mm long and 12 mm wide; leaf lamina partly reduced by 1/4 to 1/3 of pinnule width on each side of midrib; midrib 2 mm wide, longitudinally striated; lateral veins arise at acute angle, twice dichotomized, arched, ending in a protrusion on the leaf margin; venation density 5–6 veins per 10 mm of leaf margin; ovule placed on (and partly covered by) protruded marginal leaf segment, 1.5–2 mm in diameter, rounded or ellipsoid, having granulated outer surface.

Etymology

Nový druh je mnohem větší než genotyp. / Die neue Art is grösser als Genotypus.
