Original diagnosis/description

Leaves small to medium sized, simple, typically trilobate, entire-margined, petiolate. Leaf base broadly or narrowly peltate, apex acute to attenuate. Two lateral lobes triangular with acute apices. Venation palmately-pinnate, brochidodromous, with robust basal veins emerging from leaf base. Other secondary veins few (typically 3 pairs). Agrophytic secondary veins six or more, emerging from primary veins at angle of 30–40◦ curving upwards. Tertiary veins percurrent or ramified-percurrent, quaternary veins percurrent to orthogonal-reticulate.
