Original diagnosis/description
Leaflets entire-margined, elongate, with acute apex and rounded asymmetrical base. Venation pinnate, strongly asymmetric, secondaries leaving midrib at two different angles, at wider angles (up to 90◦) on one side of midvein than the other (40–60◦). Venation eucamptodromous. Tertiary veins poorly developed.
Etymology
the Department of Geology and Palaeontology in the Universalmuseum earlier Landesmuseum Joanneum in Graz, who studied the „Kainacher Gosau”, and collected some of the fossil plants studied here, including the holotype.
