Original diagnosis/description
Drupe, endocarp compressed laterally, singleloculed, two prominent apertures present on the ventral side, protruding into two lacunae surrounding the locule. Endocarp surface fibrous and reticulately ribbed. Distal pore with likely recessed bilabiate germination.
