Original diagnosis/description
Arthropitys-type calamitalean characterised by segmented wood consisting of fascicular wedges and interfascicular rays. Woody segments enlarged
radially. Interfascicular rays distinct but slightly diminishing distally. Radial walls of the secondary xylem tracheids exclusively with bordered pits incorporating oblique apertures.
Etymology
The species name refers to Raimund Rojko, a distinguished fossil-wood collector from Mönchengladbach, Germany, in honour of his helpful long-time cooperation.

Leukersdorf Formation, Cisuralian (early Permian), 291 ± 2 Ma, according to Luthardt et al. (2018).
