Original diagnosis/description

Locule casts 12–15 mm wide, 13–17 mm high; imprint of surrounding nutshell indicating an outer diam. 14–20 mm wide and 22–40 mm high; wall thickness 1.5–2 mm; two primary lobes of seed well developed, entire or slightly emarginate at base indicating absence or weak development of secióndary septum; shoulder region straight or sloghtly convex; contours of locule cast smotth; nutshell mold rounded and smooth, suggesting little or no ribbing.

Emended diagnosis

[Deng et al. 2026: Fossil Imprint, 82(1): 62–63]
Fruit a unilocular, single-seeded nut. Nut globose-ellipsoidal, 12–22 mm high, 11–14 mm wide; exterior nutshell smooth; primary septum prominent 1.1–1.7 mm thick, at right angles to the plane of separation of the two halves of the nut. Secondary septum absent to weakly developed. Locule bilobed at lower 2/3, entire or slightly emarginate at the base, sometimes giving 4 lobes at the extreme base; apical shoulder region straight or slightly convex; contours of locule smooth without grooves. Anatomy not preserved. Nutshell apparently without lacunae.
