Original diagnosis/description
Leaves entire-margined, suborbicular, petiolate, clearly differentiated into the lamina and petiole, venation acrodromous, primaries arising from the petiole, the midrib not prominent, interprimaries of various orders dense, parallel with the primaries, cross veins of various orders oblique, subparallel, wider apart, giving the vein patterns the appearance of a net with rhomboidal patches.
