Original diagnosis/description

Fruits oval to rounded in profile, more or less flattened, apex without protrusion, base rounded. Hypanthium covering about four fifths of the fruit. Vascular bundles not prominent , straight. Fruits very s mall. Diameter: 0,4–0,5 mm.

Emended diagnosis

Heřmanová et al. (2019: Rev. Palaeobot. Palynol., 268: 91):
Flowers/fruits round; very small; apex concave; base slightly convex or slightly concave; perianth persistent, fused basally forming hypanthium; lateral andmedial attachment scars of tepals forming ringmidway between base and apex; lateral faces of fruit show two ribs or ridges.
