Original diagnosis/description

Trimerous, staminate flower. Perianth consisting of two series of tepals. Androecium consisting of numerous stamens that are differentiated into a short filament, an elongate tetrasporangiate anther, and an apical globular extension of the connective.

Etymology

Referring to the Pecínov Quarry where the fossil was found.
