Types

Original diagnosis/description

As for the genus with the following additions. Seeds 4.15–6.00 mm long and 1.90–3.51 mm wide. Seed envelope with a tapered apex and rounded to pointed base. Attachment scar or short stalk indistinct at the base of the seed body. Outer epidermis of the seed envelope comprised of rectangular, longitudinally aligned cells and lacking stomata.

Etymology

The epithet lignitica indicates the mode of preservation at Tevshiin Govi.
